Last night I dreamed I was having the baby.. I scared myself awake because I was afraid I would wake up and find out I was really pushing out the baby.
Then I realized... there's no way in hell I'll be lucky enough to sleep through it. Damn.
On another note, while I'd still like to hold out until february... as of tomorrow it's safe for her to come out. =) She'll be my little water dragon. ;)

I took a sick day last night. I hate using my sick days. I couldn't sleep yesterday. I got a small nap (just under an hour) in the morning after work, and despite my best efforts I was unable to acquire decent sleep after that later in the day. By the time I went to lay back down again last night before I finally passed out (I think it was around midnight) I was shaking from lack of sleep and choking back throwing up. I just didn't have the energy to allow myself to throw up.
I managed to get about 6 good hours of sleep last night, though my dreams were highly disappointing.
Today I have many things I need to accomplish. There's so much to do, and no time left to do it. I spent way too much of my pregnancy working too many hours, and now I'm left with a shit ton of stuff to do to prepare... and I'm running out of time quickly. I'm now considered full term, so if I go into labor today, they wont stop it. Also if I go into labor today... I'm fucked.
I'm really missing my friends and family back home. This is a time I would be relying on them for support. Unfortunately I don't have any of them here. So.. off my ass I get. Time to get as much as I can done, and hope that my little brat decides to stay put at least for another couple of weeks to make things slightly less stressful for her mom. ♥

My body is giving out on me. I got stuck at work for 11 hours last night and this morning. Normally 11 hours is no big deal, but I can't handle it right now. I only got about 5 hours of sleep. I feel so run down. It hurts to just lay here, and it hurts much more to sit up, or get up and walk around. I have so much to do around the house still. At least I got the car seat out and put together today, I just have to haul it downstairs and to the car and install it. I put together the stroller too, though I don't think I'll be using that for a little while. I want to go back to bed and try to rest, but instead I have to get up and get ready for work. I don't have enough hours in the day to work, sleep, and get everything ready. I'm already so damn tired. I don't know how I'm going to keep this up.

It was fun chatting with everyone, We'll have to do it again once baby is born. =)
Thank you very much to those who sent/gave us gifts. Everything we got is very lovely, and it will all be put to good use. I feel very blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives.

Ugh, I get absolutely exhausted doing nothing. All my body wants to do is eat and sleep. I think I've reached the stage of discomfort, because I seem to be uncomfortable no matter what I do these days. I'm also a bit cranky. I find that things I would usually brush off annoy the piss out of me. I was tempted to throw out details, but I find it would be petty of me to do so. I'll just assume that I'm just cranky and people aren't really as annoying as they seem.

I got congratulated this morning on being pregnant... by someone at work who had no idea I was expecting. I'm 4 weeks away from the due date (to the day). I understand I've only packed on 20 pounds, but my belly is obviously protruding.
I guess that's what happens when you don't start out super petite.

I just watched the movie Precious.
Holy fucking shit that was disturbing. I shouldn't watch stuff like that with all of the hormones I've got going on right now. It was so sad, it made me cry several times.
I know shit like that happens in real life, which is why it's so disturbing. Her mom is horrible. I would kill a motherfucker who pulled that shit.. not even a little bit. The crime scene would probably make the saw movies look like candyfuckingland.

Several hours in a hospital bed yesterday has aggravated my back injury from last year.
I can't even begin to describe how much this hurts when you can't take anything to buffer the pain.
I'm not even going to bother with the Tylenol I'm allowed. I took 2 extra strength Tylenol in the hospital yesterday for my headache, and my headache was back full force 2 hours later. I have no intention of loading the rugrat up with meds for minor relief for myself.
